Dolphin Training!

Have one person volunteer to leave the room. When they do, ask the rest of the class what the student's task is when they come back in the room. Like the game Hot and Cold, the student outside has to guess what their tasks are by doing different actions and walking where the class is clapping. The clapping means they are getting "Warmer"

Good luck with following the claps!

Hot Potato!

Classmates gather in a circle and toss a beanbag or small ball to each other while music plays. The student who is holding the "hot potato" when the music stops is out! The winner is announced when one student is left standing.

Happy tossing!

Finger Snatch!

Face your partner, each partner places their left index finger in their partner;s right palm. Count down 3-2-1 Snatch! Try to snatch (catch) your partners finger before they pull it away. Nice little break with a partner!

           1 to 10

Students will stand at their desks and take turns saying a number. One person at a time will say one number after another until the group reaches 20. If 2 people say a number at the same time the count starts at 1 again.

Pen Flip

Stretch it out!

Give students 1-2 minutes to get up out of their desks and stretch out. Get students to participate in a Roll Down.

Roll Down: Start from your head and slowly drop your head to the chin, letting gravity pull you down slowly until you are hanging; hands near the floor. Swing your arms back and forth a few times then roll back up slowly with your head being the last thing that rolls up.

Happy Stretching!

Heading 1

Silent Line Up

The object of the game is to work together as a team WITHOUT TALKING. Arrange yourselves at the back of the room in a line from shortest to tallest. This must be done silently.

For an even greater challenge line up from youngest to oldest, also without talking.

Hold a pen or pencil in your dominant hand by the pointed end. Toss the pen in the air rotating it 360 degrees to catch it in the same hand again.

Next challenge: Once you can toss the pen with your dominant hand consistently try with your non-dominant hand.

Harder still: Try tossing two pens at the same time, one with each hand.

Super challenge: Toss the two pens and catch each with the opposite hand, crossing them in the air.
